About Skala

At the village of Skala, which is about 3 Km. from the villas, you will find all the shops that you need, open every day and at any time. Super markets, bakery, pastry shop, souvenir shops, gift shops, beach accessories, car and motorbike hires. You will find lots of restaurants with local traditional food and others with foreign cuisine. For your entertainment there are cafeterias and bars in Skala but also on your way to Skala, right next to the sea. At the organized sandy beach of Skala, length of 3 km., you will find all kind of water sports activities. We are expecting you and we are willing to help you out with all sort of information that you will need.

You can get to our villas from the airport within 30 – 40 min., following the road to Skala. Once you get to Skala, you take the coast road to Poros. When you reach to the Asteris hotel, which is on the right side of the road, you turn left and get on the smaller road which leads to the villas (about 150 m. from the main road). If you come to Kefalonia by ferry via Patra (mainland) or via Italy (direct ferry), you will get off at the port of Sami. From there you take the main road to Poros. Once you get to Poros, which is about 25 km. From Sami, you take the coast road to Skala, which is about 12 km. From Poros. When you reach at the Apostolata, proceed 150 m. And then turn right (opposite from the asteris hotel entrance), on the first alley.
